The Edelweiss Congress Hotel Davos is located just a few meters walking distance away from the congress center of Davos. Our boutique hotel offers you the ideal accommodation for congress participants from all over the world.
We offer free wireless LAN throughout the entire hotel and a modern IT corner, which is equipped with apple computers. Of course, we can also provide you with an adapter on request. Our cozy library with loggia is also an ideal space for interviews, discussions or small-scale meetings. Our restaurant with space for up to 60 people can be booked for special seminars or business events.
The Congress Center in Davos itself has a long tradition and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The Davos Congress department takes care of the entire organization. Should you be planning an event, meeting or similar gathering, everything can be discussed and planned centrally. The first-class 12,000 square meter congress center building in Davos consists out of 3 autonomous parts that can be operated independently, a plenum for 1,800 participants and further 34 rooms. A total of up to 5000 participants can gather here.

History
Davos has a long-established tradition as a conference-, research- and clinic location. The Davos research center developed from the former health resort. The knowledge acquired here - especially in the field of natural science and medicine - was passed on in (various) courses and seminars since the beginning of the 20th century.The medical advanced training courses in particular have long enjoyed great popularity and led to the construction of the Davos Congress Centre in 1969. The Davos congress location became internationally known through the World Economic Forum (WEF), which has been held in the city of Davos since 1971. As Davos developed more and more into an internationally known and valued congress location, the congress center was expanded after only 10 years. Since this expansion could not keep up with the increasing number of participants, it was expanded again in 1989 and 2010.
